Airlines that operate to/from Mexico, Cuba and Jamaica, are legally obliged to provide advance passenger information (known as API).
In certain cases, when flying through US airspace, so-called Secure Flight information (title/sex, name, surname, date of birth and, if applicable, redress number) will also have to be provided. Secure Flight data is automatically stored in the API form for relevant Evelop flights.
The required advance passenger information (API) varies according to the country of destination and the passenger's nationality. As a rule, the following information is required:
- Full name (as appears on identity document)
- Date of birth
- Passport details
- Country of main residence
- Passenger's nationality
- Details of first night's accommodation
The registration of your API data is applicable for your Evelop Airlines flight booking.
